Everything you need to know about the Brand & Positioning Sprint, what you get, and how the AI-ready brand structure works.

We run a focused 10-day sprint. It starts with a deep-dive into your market, competitors, and audience — evidence, not gut feelings. From there we build your positioning, story architecture, and a homepage rewrite with real copy direction. You get working assets, not a deck that collects dust.
Ten business days. We keep it tight on purpose — momentum matters more than endless rounds of internal debate. You'll have everything you need to move forward within two weeks of kicking off.
A few focused sessions at the start for context and alignment, then a review checkpoint midway through. Plan for roughly 3-4 hours total. We do the heavy lifting — your job is to show up with honesty about your business, not homework.
That's actually the best time to do this. The sprint forces alignment through evidence and structured decisions — not opinions and HiPPO politics. We've seen teams walk in divided and walk out with a direction everyone can get behind because the reasoning is clear.
WHAT YOU GET
Four things: a positioning strategy built on real evidence, a brand story architecture (promise, tension, resolution), a homepage rewrite with wireframe and copy direction, and an AI-ready brand structure — including your Agent Perception Baseline, schema markup, llms.txt, and citation strategy.
You get usable assets. The homepage rewrite is ready for your developer. The positioning and story architecture plug directly into your sales deck, content, and campaigns. This isn't a 60-page PDF that needs "translation" — it's built to ship.
We build in a review checkpoint specifically for this. The sprint is structured so we align early and course-correct before final delivery. That said — because we work from evidence, not vibes, the direction usually lands.
Our output is a barebones wireframe focused purely on layout and content placement — no branding, no visual design. Think of it as the blueprint, not the finished house. The copy itself, though, is ready to publish as-is.
AI-READINESS
It means AI tools — ChatGPT, Google's AI Overviews, Perplexity — can accurately describe who you are, what you do, and why it matters. Right now, most brands leave this to chance. We build the structure so AI gets your story right: schema markup, an llms.txt file, and a citation strategy that points AI to your best sources.
Because your customers are already asking AI about you — or about problems you solve. If AI describes your competitor clearly and fumbles your brand, that's a problem you didn't even know you had. This is about accuracy and control, not vanity.
It's a structured text file that tells large language models what your brand is, what you offer, and how to describe you. Think of it as a brief for AI. Do you need one? If you care about how AI represents your business — yes.
Let's be straight: we help AI describe you correctly, not more often. That's clarity — and it's what the sprint delivers. Showing up more often is a different discipline called GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), closer to SEO than branding. Our sister company OKTOtech offers GEO as a separate service — so once your brand is clear and structured, they can help increase how often AI surfaces you. Two problems, two solutions, in the right order.
PRICING & SCOPE
It depends on your situation — company stage, complexity, existing brand assets. Book a call and we'll scope it together. No surprise invoices, no bloated retainers.
The sprint covers positioning, story architecture, homepage rewrite, and the full AI-ready brand structure. Implementation beyond the homepage direction — like building out the site, running campaigns, or producing content — is separate. We'll be clear about the line before we start.
Yes. Some clients take the sprint deliverables and run. Others want to keep building — and we offer three services designed to follow the sprint:
• Identity Redesign — A clearer positioning often opens the door to a stronger visual identity. If the moment is right, we can redesign your logo, typography, color system, and brand guidelines to lock in the new territory. Not every brand needs it — but when it fits, it makes the whole system hit harder.
• Content & Permission — A content strategy built on your new positioning: permission ladder, editorial framework, citation strategy, and a channel playbook.
• Brand Stewardship — Ongoing governance: quarterly audits, AI visibility monitoring, and claims verification to keep your brand sharp over time.
Each is optional and booked separately. We'll tell you honestly which ones make sense for your situation — and which ones don't.
FIT & RESULTS
Both. Startups need positioning because they're building from scratch. Established companies need it because their brand drifted, the market shifted, or AI is describing them based on outdated information. Different starting points, same need for clarity.
Clarity. Your team will know exactly what you stand for and how to talk about it — consistently, across every channel. Your homepage will say what it should have said all along. And AI will finally describe your brand the way you'd describe it yourself. If you're expecting a lead gen spike in week one, that's not what this is.
You'll feel it first — sales conversations get easier, content gets faster to produce, and your team stops debating messaging in every meeting. Measurably, watch for consistency in how AI tools describe you, improved homepage engagement, and shorter sales cycles. Positioning is infrastructure — everything built on top of it works better.
